Sunday, February 5th, 2006Founded in 2006, ConsultFit is a professional business that is ethically and scientifically-based with consultants who have academic and hands on specialization in anatomy, biomechanics, cardiac rehabilitation, exercise physiology, and litigation. Many are prominent professors and authorities who are shaping the practice of exercise physiology and related fields.
The purpose of ConsultFit is to provide expert consultations or advice with clients in the assessment of standards of practice by exercise physiologists and others who work in fitness, rehabilitation, and athletics. Guidance is provided to prevent negligent care in matters dealing with staff responsibilities and institutional liability involving exercise and fitness programs, rehabilitation in hospital settings, nursing homes, clinics and retirement centers. Our staff provides counsel involving education and training that is researched based.
Finding the right exercise physiology professional is not a simple process. Too many fitness professionals, who have little to no training in exercise physiology, often refer to themselves as exercise physiologists. ConsultFit locates the right expert, the right exercise physiologist, often university professors, who are interested in serving as experts for clients.
